Composed 2011/01/20⁓2019/11/19, this is another exercise in ancient FM-synthesis techniques like those employed by legacy soundchips (i.e. Yamaha YM2608/OPNA) found on computers, arcades, and video game systems from the late 1980’s thru early 1990’s. Here I added some powerful PPZ8 drums to give it some ballad vibes, since I am very fond of pop-ballads from the 1980’s.

This instrumental single was compiled to PMD98 music format with M.Kajihara’s P.M.D. music compiler MC.EXE ver. 4.8 for MS-DOS. Its A-side track was recorded to PCM audio from a genuine PC-9801-86 soundcard operated by AxeBane (to whom I extend my thankees); its B-side track was converted to PCM audio with C60’s FMPMD2000 music player.
